A Life Member for the Smithton VFD is someone who has committed 20 years to the department as a regular member. Through that time, many members dedicate themselves to responding to calls, fundraising, training, and doing what they can to make the organization operate smoothly.
We greatly appreciate all of our members, but the Life Members deserve our respect and extra recognition!

Explosion and Fire at the Previous Station
Over 60 years ago, there was an explosion and fire at our former station that was located on Center Street. It destroyed equipment and all of the records.
