We were invited to participate in the Mon Valley Night Out held just across the river in Rostraver Township at the DiVirgilio Sports Complex. The event was sponsored by the Mon Valley Opioid Coalition and the Rostraver Township Police Department.

Early in the morning crews responded into Fayette County on Banning Road for reports of a bedroom fire. The Ladder arrived first to confirm a working fire inside the single family residence. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and entered the house to contain and extinguish the fire.

Crews spent a few hours doing walk-throughs of a few local businesses on the west end of 2nd Street in the borough. This gave our members an opportunity to become familiar with the layout of these buildings as well as different aspects of each business should an emergency occur.
